Until the Light Takes Us

by Matt Clinks

So it looks like we forget that last night we lose an hour. Had the chance to hang out with my buddy Za/ech last night after a long day at work. He is in town for the interactive part of South By Southwest(don’t give in to the abbreviation.) We wanted to take it easy. The weather was terrible and we were both already tired. So no big celebration for us. Just grab a quick bite and maybe watch a movie….

Fast forward. It was about 4:30am when we realized what we were doing. Shaking off our middle school stay-up-till-you-can’t-function-the-next-day daze, we immediately said our” good-nights” and went to bed.

Can you imagine if Whittney woke up for her morning workout to see 2 adult men awake at 4:30am watching a documentary about the history of Black Metal. Black Metal, for all intents and purposes, is a sub-genre of music I have absolutely no interest in, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t make for for one hell of an interesting documentary!

Either way, that was a interesting documentary, to say the least.
